Novice Program
For students entering 6th grade next fall:
Does your child want to participate in band and orchestra but not know what instrument to play?
The Wind Instrument Connections One Day Novice Instrumental Camp is the perfect opportunity to try the following instruments: Violin, Viola, Cello, String Bass, Flute, Clarinet, Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Baritone, Tuba, and Mallet Percussion.
Experienced, certified, professional instrumental music teachers will work with your child to teach the fundamentals of instrument handling and tone production.
COVID provisions for this camp include:
- Bring your own mask! Masks are required for the event.
- Each student will receive one of every instrument for the day. No one will share an instrument or any part of an instrument at the camp.
- Following each camp, the instruments and site location will be chemically disinfected in preparation for the next day, and new reeds will be used on all clarinets.
